Definitions

The “COMPANY” refers to us, ‘South Coast Bakery Limited’. The “BUYER” refers to you, the purchaser of goods and services.

Summary

The company only accepts orders subject to the conditions of sale to the exclusion of any condition of the buyer.

Payment

Notwithstanding delivery, the risk of the services, goods and the property in the goods shall not pass to the buyer until the goods are paid for in full, prior to dispatch.

Prices

Prices of goods and services supplied as of this date are correct but subject to market fluctuation and revision.

VAT

All the company’s prices are inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT). This is charged at the current rate except on those goods that are zero rated or exempt from VAT charges (e.g. books).

Fitness for purpose

The company are in no way liable for the purpose and fitment of goods and services supplied to the buyer. The company has no control over the fitment, suitability and method of their application or use. The company excludes any condition or warranty implied by statute or otherwise as to the fitness of its goods or any other particular whatsoever.

Liability

The company’s liability to the buyer shall at no time exceed the price of the goods supplied. The company shall be under no liability for any direct loss and/or expense or any indirect loss and/or expense suffered by the buyer or liability to third parties incurred by the buyer. The company shall be under no liability whatsoever for any loss or damage whether direct or indirect resulting from the supply of goods. The company shall be under no liability whatsoever for the quality and purpose of goods supplied to the buyer or to a third party.

Refunds

Please note that refund requests through no fault of the company will have to pay the admin charge that we are charged by our payment gateway providers. In these situations, the buyer will not receive the full amount that they initially paid for their item(s). Also, depending on the situation, the company may not be able to refund the amount paid for delivery.

Delivery

Any item(s) purchased and dispatched from the company require the buyer or someone acting on the buyer’s behalf, to be at the delivery address at the time of delivery in order to receive the item(s).

Confirmation of dispatch will be sent by the company to the buyer by email.

Contacting Us

We have implemented Google’s reCAPTCHA v3 on our site’s contact form and that your use of our contact form is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. reCAPTCHA is only used to fight spam and abuse on our site. reCAPTCHA is not used for any other purpose.

We will only contact you regarding the matter you have emailed us about and will store the details you supply (name, email address etc) for this purpose only. By contacting us you agree to this.

If you order from us via our online shop on this website, we will store the details you supply (name, email address etc) in order to comply with the law and to fulfil your order. If you set up an account with us, we will also store the details you supply so that you may log in and administer your orders and account details. By ordering and/or setting up an account, you agree to this.

We will not sell, rent or divulge your information to anyone or any organisation unless required to do so by the law or to protect our business.

THIS CONTRACT IS SUBJECT TO THE LAW OF ENGLAND AND WALES.
