Our traditional Cornish Saffron Cake recipe has been handed down generation to generation. This recipe is our Grandma’s recipe and our customers like it so much we thought you might like to try some too.

The unique colouring in the cake is completely natural and due to the Saffron we add to the recipe before it’s cooked. The Saffron also adds a delicate and yet delicious flavour which is why it’s so special.

Cornish Saffron Cake is prized in Cornwall and eaten by many local people. It can be eaten as a bread or toasted with hot butter and even jam if you like for that extra special treat.
